My daughter was in today for what I thought was pink eye. She was seen and dismissed quickly with the diagnosis viral pink eye, no drops needed and to do cold compresses. Her eye was extremely sore and irritated. My gut told me something else was wrong so I got her in to our family eye doctor. She has an infection and is now on steroids and antibiotics.
