Taylor made our 7am expedition well worth waking up early for! He was very patient in explaining things and very knowledgeable of the route and the wildlife on the expedition! He related things well for everyone in our group of 7, ranging from ages 7-56! I would highly recommend the expedition to Waties Island. We found several shells and 2 whole sand dollars! Thank you for a memorable family trip! I would do it again, and request Taylor as our guide!
We had a wonderful relaxing time kayaking on the Waccamaw River with the entire family. Our guide was very informative and friendly, at times we didn’t even have to paddle, the river just carries you right along! The farm and the end is adorable, we enjoyed meeting all of the animals
My husband and I have rented kayaks from Great Escape Kayaking twice. Both at different locations. Today we went on the Waccamaw River and it was the most beautiful, peaceful, and breathtaking experience we’ve had on kayaks so far (which says a lot because we own our own kayaks). Meeting BLT, the goats, dog and new puppy, and other animals made it even better! We will be coming back! We’ve done the Cherry Grove and loved it as well! So far though Waccamaw River wins the GOLD in our book!

We had such a great time this morning! When booking these types of adventures from 17 hours away, you are always relying on reviews. Well Rinn and Cory did a fabulous job. The kayaking was peaceful and the island was so much fun to explore! These staff members were funny but also very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend booking a kayaking tour with these folks!
The weather was absolutely perfect on our last day of vacation in Myrtl Beach. Google found us this company and it was PERFECT! Our guide Shane was AMAZING!!!
