Went in to donate my hair yesterday, 14 inches. I was very clear about how long I wanted my hair to be, just below my shoulder. I told the stylist slightly shorter in the back would be fine. Once she took off my donation, she didn't stop cutting my hair shorter and shorter to "make it even". I donated 14 inches and got at least 4 inches hacked off after that.
