I went into the Great Clips location in Altoona, Iowa and was VERY IMPRESSED with the service and detail I was provided. Sierra asked questions and made completely sure that I received the exact haircut that I was asking for. She had never given me a haircut and when she finished it was exactly what I wanted. If you go in, ask for Sierra and you will not be disappointed.

Was told my favorite stylist would be in on Friday. I couldn’t make an online appointment because they were not open yet. I arrived at 9 am store was closed. Waited outside until 10:39. Still no response. Went back at 4:30 store was open 1 person in chair but nobody came out from the back.

I went to this locations and a lady names Amy was cutting my hair. All this lady did was talk down about other Stylist that work there. She was saying things like everyone else their sucks at their job that she wouldn't trust anyone else there to cut hair. This is very negative and bad vibe behavior and made me very uncomfortable to the point that i was waiting for my cut to be finished so that i could get out of that environment. What a great find!   Everyone was so nice and helpful.   I was struggling with what to do with my hair and I am so happy I tried them.  It was clean and they were so nice

On three separate occasions I had a great cut (more bad cuts than good over the years, however), only to return each time to find that none of the stylists I liked were there anymore. It's frustrating to find someone who listens to your preferences and then leaves. The staff turnover at this location is high, so don't expect any consistently. I had a haircut every 8 weeks, so no one seems to stay long.

My boys 10 and 7 went first thing this morning. Tasha and McKenna cut their hair and they loved it! Both boys wanted to give them five star reviews so here I am letting you all know they were excellent, efficient and listened to what they wanted. Thank you Tasha & McKenna!

The amount of times I've received a negative farewell after paying my bill is mind boggling. I get charged a $19.00 haircut and leave a $3 dollar tip and I get treated like scum. Numerous times over the past few years. That's over 15% in case you don't know! It's not my problem that I don't get you to $30 an hour after your two haircuts that you typically do in that span. I assure you, you aren't worth that money. Not even $25. So get the hell over yourself and stop depending on your clients to pay your suitable wage. All yo... read more
