My 2 year old son and I came in for a haircut & when we checked out, she rolled us into one bill. On the tip screen, I selected the highest amount thinking that it was for both: one bill, one tip. It ended up applying that 50% tip for each of us. I couldn't figure out how on earth it was so high, in which she explained that I tipped that amount for each party. We usually go to a kids salon but I was thinking we could avoid the premium charge since my 4yr old sits really well. I showed them a picture of her last haircut as what I wanted and the lady seemed to just want to get it done as fast as possible. The ends are jagged and uneven and she took less than ten minutes to actually do the hair cut. When I was paying and she saw the amount I tipped (5$ for an 18$ cut) she scoffed and said thanks and walked away
I have to say this location used to be the best of all the chain barber shops in the area by far for awhile. But over the past year or so it’s gotten a lot worse and like some of the other recent reviews, the stylist who cut my son’s hair didn’t do what I asked for and completely butchered the cut. I told her he wanted to grow his hair out, including the sides and back, and asked her not to trim those … just a little bit above his eyes. On multiple occasions I am very specific when I take my child in there and tell them 2 inches "off the ends. "And more than half the time the hairdresser just does whatever they feel fit for my child which is nearly a buzz cut. I'm not sure why they feel this is okay when I am the one paying them for the haircut. Bad service and poor communication skills. I will honestly never go back to this location.
