RecommendedShout out to Sam at Palmer Great Clips!!!I took my autistic nephew there for a haircut. I lucked out with Sam. She had amazing patience and tolerance for his special needs. Nice haircut as well. We will be visiting her again.
The location is a revolving door of staff. The rate of employee attrition is terrible. When you do find someone you like to cut your hair they are gone a month later.
I went for a haircut and told stylist to take the least amount off as needed to eliminate the split ends and shape up the LONG LAYERS...we agreed on an inch...she took off 3 inches and put such short layers in that my hair looks terrible..so thin and sparse! As a client, we expect the stylist to listen and have some common sense. Never Again.
Got haircut today, not a good experience. Girl worked fast so I thought she knew what she was doing. Not trimmed as I wanted around the ears and back is just blah. Since it is short will take time to do anything. She used the comb rough and I said ouch. I think she was just trying to get to some of the people that came in after me, hope they had a better experience than I did.
Dont tip them if your not statisfied about your hair cut. This lady cut my hair quckly so she could finish nd do something else. not coming back here. I wanted short and smooth cut. not coming back to this one. horrible service today.

Never go here- they don’t care how your hair ends up. Hair is about 10” or more from where I was told it would be and you can tell that it is far from even. Some of my hair in the middle is above my hairline other is way longer. This location did get before this. Stylist was unprofessional- insulting me when I was in her chair. Pictures don’t even show how bad it is. This is definitely not the great clips way!
We had an AMAZING experience at the Avon lake location today! Sierra went way above and beyond with little Jake, she was extremely patient, reassured him (and me) every step, and even sang to him to help calm him down. She brought over a second chair for babysis and also worked around sis’s dance off in the middle of the floor. Can not recommend Sierra enough! Thank you!
