This clinic USED to be a beacon of light and hope for those struggling with addiction. As a former client who successfully tapered off methadone, I will always be grateful to the amazing people who helped me get stability in my sobriety. Sadly, most of those employees have left. In addition, it has been heartbreaking to see the holistic treatment as well as the education about the Red Road to Wellbriety disappear. Worst experience I have ever had at a treatment facility. The Doctor insisted I take 30mg of Suboxone on my first day and I instantly went into severe precipitated withdrawal. All of the doctors and staff didn’t know what to do with me. 4 hours after closing time they were trying to kick me out, however I was so sick I couldn’t move let alone drive, so they carried me to a staff member’s car and dropped me off at my house. love these guys a d gals;) lol When you're already feeling yucky all the way around, the last thing you want to do is sit there and discuss your past addiction and why you started using drugs when you were 14 years old and whatnot! The counselors recognize that and make the intake process far less grueling than other unnamed clinics in the area;) They offer weekly acupuncture which is amazing and counts as a group for the week, the same thing with Tai Chi, and Artistic Creativity weekly groups!!!
