I’m genuinely surprised to see a few 1-star reviews mentioning rude staff, because that hasn’t been my experience at all. The service I received was friendly, patient, and helpful, especially as someone who’s still new to TCM and had questions. The shop has a huge selection and a really authentic, old-school feel that you don’t get everywhere, even with newer, more modern stores nearby. You can tell this place has been part of the community for a long time, and it shows in how they treat people. Highly recommended.

I’ve been here twice now and I’m still pretty new to Traditional Chinese Medicine, but Great China Herbs Centre has quickly become my go-to. There’s a lot of competition in the area, including a newer, more modern shop just a couple doors over, but there’s something special about this place. Kim is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely eager to help. She took the time to answer questions without rushing, and the selection is excellent. I come to Toronto at least once a year, this is the place I must visit regardless how busy my schedule it is, lady Kim is very nice, knowledgeable and always goes extra extra miles to help me find the right herbs for my health, proud of being a customer/patient of Great China Herbs Centre.
