I have been to the Great Canadian Oil Change at 8511Mcleod trail in south Calgary around 9 AM. I was received at the 2nd bay from the left. Another guy took over immediately with a lot of reluctance, as if he is not at all in the mood. As I requested him to check the condition of my car's engine oil he made a face like why I am even asking for this service at all and rudely commanded me to open the hood. They’re lying here. I asked if they changed the oil filter, because when you change the oil, the oil filter is supposed to be replaced too. They said yes, but I didn’t see them do anything. At first, they lied that they had changed it, and then they didn’t know what to do and had to actually replace it.
Made the mistake of going to Mr. Lube my last oil change and paid over $200. Everyone recommended this company and I only paid $128, and they were actually honest with me saying that I could change my air filter but I would probably be okay to wait until next time. Every place I’ve ever gone to just pressures you into getting extra services and don’t like to take no for an answer, but these people are very honest and respectful and I appreciated that. Would definitely recommend this company over anyone else.
