Fantastic place! Great for any age. Amazing wildlife viewing, saw Horseshoe crabs and Osprey and much more. Well maintained boardwalk, goes thru forest then out into marsh, good sitting areas to take in nature, can't wait to go back.
It is an amazing place for toddlers and young children, as well as adults! New boardwalk is a very nice addition.
Love, love, love this place. Both my children (5 & 3.5 years old) absolutely beg to visit. They have participated in the "Once Upon an Estuary" program, which they adore, and just enjoy weekend visits. They recently educated their grandparents about horseshoe crabs, oysters, and estuary water. We have become life long lovers of the Center!
We were having a great time until my oldest daughter wanted to play on the boats & a lady started to lawn mow & a huge rock came flying at me, my mom, my newborn, my 3 year old daughter & father. The lady didn't even care just laughed & asked if everything was ok. Don't think we will be returning & lawn care should be done while closed not when open & kids are playing.
