showed up for initial consult. once they spent an hour at our property pretending to listen to us, said the consultation fee was $1200 . following this one hour visit, said they would give us multiple options and plans after 2 weeks. after 4 weeks time we reached out to our GAL contact. a week later, they sent us one cartoon image of what we had discussed without any further details. We had the absolute pleasure to work with Steve Talcott from Great American Landscapes when it came to beautifying the area around our home. Steve met with my wife and I and listened to our 'needs and wants' and was able to offer a customized solution for the front, sides, and back of our home. Scott Saylor and his team are top-notch. I brought a design to them for bid. Scott worked with me to scope the project to meet my budget and needs, adapting as plans changed. They weren't the cheapest and they weren't the most expensive. It was a 6-figure project that included re-grading part of the lawn, replacing the parking pad, putting in a new patio, installing new sod, and planting new trees/bushes/plants. We recently asked Great American Landscapes to build an outdoor fireplace to enhance our patio area. We thoroughly enjoyed working with them, from design to logistics to construction. They had great ideas and were receptive to our input. The job was completed on time and on budget. We would highly recommend them and will look for additional opportunities to work with them again.

Great American Landscapes work crew arrived on the date and time promised. Their Spring Cleanup processes were efficient and thoroughgoing. Their pre-departure cleanup and debris removal was completely excellent. In all, the place has never looked better, and we are delighted! Mike Risell is/was a pleasure to work with. Great American Landscapes was the answer to 8 years of flooding in our home. After working with another company for many (disastrous) years to try and fix our flooding issues, a friend told me about Great American. They came and regraded our yard, added a French drain, and replaced our deck with the loveliest paver patio. In 4 DAYS! They were fast and did beautiful work and we haven't had flooding since then. We had rather an ambitious project and knew more or less what we wanted out of the space but had few ideas on specifics when it came to finishes and overall design.
