Went today with my husband and when we arrived someone was ordering at the register closest to the cold case. A few feet away was another register with a young female standing there. My husband walked up and said I'd like an egg bagel toasted and she immediately said order over there and pointed to the first register. She said it very curt and rude. When I walked through the door the young lady wasn't pleasant. she looked at me like I didn't belong there. Once I placed my order, I didn't know that you were to go down and pay for it so I'm standing there with my card in hand you would think she'd said know you pay at the other end but know she didn't. And the young lady that was making my bagel looked like she didn't even want to be here. So, my experience there was not great and a nobody had on hair nets.
Food is alright. Bagels are good. Service from the lady working the register was TERRIBLE. Older lady with boy cut blonde hair was so rude! Had an attitude and was very condescending. As we left my 3yr old son thanked her for our food and she completely disregarded him. Making sure my family and I NEVER go back.
There aren’t too many great American bagel spots around these days, so I was genuinely excited to try the Oak Lawn location as a bit of a treat. Right away, I noticed a lot of positives. The store was clean, well-stocked, and I was greeted with a smile. The bagel selection looked great, and the cream cheese case was full with a nice variety. First impressions were definitely strong.
