I called a few days in advance to get a quote on new spark plugs, he gave me a quote of $250 plus tax. when I was there, he came in and said he was going to have to pull the intake, and this was going to be a extra $100, i told him he did not have to pull the intake, and went out there and showed him the brackets to remove so he could take out the middle coil pack, he said he would try it, and in 5 minutes he got it out. when I went to pay, he said the price was around $440, I told him I was quoted $250, he said the plugs ar... read more

They did what was expected on my oil change, $132, about 8 qts and filter change, all good! The tech came into the wait room to show me a fluid sample of my trans fluid. The sample was gray in color. I've seen trans with over 150,000 on them and they always appear brownish because of the red fluid. He said I should get my trans serviced. Well, it had been serviced 40,000 miles ago, so I knew he wasnt being honest with me. Was recently scammed for a AC recharge, they tell you they will let you know if there’s an issue with compressor or other AC before refilling Freon. $190 bucks later come back and tell me compressor is bad but they already put the Freon. Waste of money and time, quoted me $1000 to fix compressor and they would deduct the $190. Took car to a mechanic turns out the radiator fan wasn’t even working!! compressor was fine. Don’t fall for their scams!!!

Took my vehicle in for an oil change and they put a plug in the air conditioner hose release and never removed it. My interior cab was full of water for days over the July 4th weekend until I brought it to Ken Vance and they discovered the plug! Also, when he looked at the air filter behind the glove compartment, the pulled the cover off and broke it! It was a s--- show from beginning to end! I am trying to get my money back for my $98 oil change. Ugh.

I was dealing with a scraping (not grinding or squealing) sound in one of my brakes, so I brought it to Grease Monkey to get it checked out. The mechanic said all rotors and breaks looked good and the sound was rust from the recent rain. The sound continued so I got it checked out again with a different mechanic—he said the brakes and rotors looked good but still couldn’t pinpoint the issue.
