I agree with the earlier reviewer that this eatery is overpriced and very poor, which may seem harsh but is true. We tried to support this restaurant in the beginning but gave up after a number of tries. The best thing about it is its location, but the fawning service is ill-advised, and the food has no true Italian flavor. A word about the music: it is too loud and intrusive.

I was in Bloomington for a conference and ended up at Grazie for dinner the first night.. I loved it so much that I brought 15 people back to it on the 2nd night. Everyone loved it. The food was fabulous, service great. Couldn't ask for a better dinner and location.

Outstanding. The wine we chose was exceptional. Food was a little on the fast side but it was very fresh and hot. Mmmmm

Great steaks, good service. I had to wait for a table but learned they take reservations. Definitely worth the wait since they have a beautiful lounge. And you can't beat outdoor dining! A little pricey, but what isn't nowadays!

I ate at Grazie! this past weekend while visiting my son at IU. I was immediately impressed at the decor. I felt like I had stepped into a big city, not Bloomington, Indiana. There was a short wait for our table but the hostess was friendly and directed us to the bar /lounge area where we had a fantastic martini while we waited. Delicious! – We saw the beautiful neon sign for Grazie lit up and instantly decided this is where we were eating tonight. We were not disappointed. The food was really good and we wish they would open an local Italian restaurant like this near Michigan State. I had the chicken parmesean and my wife had a mushroom tortellini dish. We both liked what we had. We were also given salad and bread with our entree, which was a nice touch. So many places now charge extra for a salad. Great Italian food, wonderful service everytime. I never leave unsatisfied. You might want to call ahead for reservations on the weekends or go through open table (one of only two restaurants in Bloomington that use that awesome website). Menu changes seasonally but they always keep the classics. Love it.
