Went through Amex for this stay and got a great deal. It's always hit or miss with boutique style New York City hotels, but I considered this a hit. My husband and I are in our mid 30s and went for our 6th wedding anniversary. We specifically went to go see a couple of shows and it was a great central hub for everything we wanted to do (museums, a few cocktails lounges, nice dinners, theatre, stroll through the parks) The rooftop views were great, the hotel is nice. Stayed at Grayson for a weekend in March, booked through Amex Hotel Collection. The location was perfect to explore the city and the value received booking through Amex is incredible. We enjoyed dinner shortly after checking in which made for an easy evening and breakfast each morning was filling before heading out for the day. The large window that looks into the bathroom was an interesting design choice but more importantly we slept well and could not hear the sounds of the city below. Excellent location with easy access to the subway and many New York landmarks. Rooms are a bit on the small side, but that's expected for New York and the rooms themselves are quite nice. The hotel was quiet, well kept, and overall very enjoyable.
