I love my psychiatrist, but the front desk, billing staff, etc is so rude! They barely answer the phone and when they do, the attitudes are terrible! You work with people with mental health issues, have some compassion or find another job. And don’t worry about getting a phone call back for anything, might as well just go in person for everything.

Very negative experience in lack of Professionalism from this establishment. Last year I waited over two hours to see my psych doctor and I left when there was about 15 minutes until closing because I didn’t feel like paying for a freaking visit and only getting 15 minutes worth of her time. And now I have been trying to get them to mail my medical records to my primary care physician so that I can get the care I need and they refuse to give the medical records to me until the dr signs off on them. The actual providers are excellent, thorough, and caring. The local (Anniston) staff are great as well. The problem is all of their phones route to the main office in Birmingham for everything. Trying to make appointments or get a refill is an absolute nightmare unless you have access to a direct chat with your provider or physically go to the local office. Otherwise you might end up running out of medication and have a week+ before getting a refill sent.

They called me while I was busy over a week ago asking me to call back about my appointment. I have called multiple times and left voicemails since and still nothing.
