I came all the way from Gaylord looking for someone to see my foster son who has been sick the last couple days. The reason I came all the way down here is because of the ice storm. We had no electricity up north the walk-in was closed there and luckily I came across Grayling community health center even though it’s by appointment they got me in right away regardless if they were full or not, Jerry at the front desk was very helpful at getting us in quickly where he could be seen and not be turned away I very much appreciate... read more
This place is pointless. This whole hospital just needs to shut down. Had an appointment for a child to get an antibiotic but the provider left for an "emergency"(turns out the doctors left sick but I was told it was a family emergency?) and neglected to call us to inform us the appointment was canceled. I just don't understand the point of having two clinics that make appointments in the same building. You need a walk in clinic idiots
Jerry at the front desk was amazing, he made stressful situations seem less and was eager to help in anyway he could. It was obvious he genuinely cared and that is hard to find in health care anymore! The nurse and the practitioner were also very kind, helpful and timely throughout the appointment.
Can't get scripts refilled, call half a dozen times to get elderly mother's insulin dosage corrected with the pharmacy so insurance would cover it, or to talk with someone besides the desk jockies. Never call u back. Seem to have little interest in elderly people. Would not recommend to anyone.very frustrating and unprofessional. Waited at reception desk to get my mother checked in and listened to a full five minute discussion of receptionist husband's new snow boots. All people, nurses, the front desk, and my doctor were all very nice and positive and extremely helpful.
