This is a great restaurant with warm atmosphere for a special occasion. Summer is great on the roof-top with a separate menu
This is a great spot for italian food. THe prices are pretty high but you can sit outside on the roof when it is warm. It's a romantic date place.
Great if you don't have a car – The ambience at Gratzi is its selling point. Location, if you don't have a car --to go get truly inspired Italian food-- is right on the main drag, so it's easy to get to. I really liked the setting, and the convivial atmosphere makes for a great time if food is not the real object of the outing. My pasta was fresh though the sauce was ho-hum. Pass on the calamari. A fictional name – This review needs to go no further than the fact they can't spell their own name. They butchered the italian spelling of "thank you." Subpar italian food is easy to come by. Not only have they failed to set themselves apart in quality of food, but they didn't even use a dictionary to ensure they named it correctly.
excellent food - you will go back! – a friend basically dines there every night. reasonable prices, top notch service, and exquisite food! try the sole and veal.
Great for dates! – I loved the restaurant. I took my girlfriend out for an anniversary there and had an excellent time. At the time it was one of my first finer dining experiences so she and I were a bit uneasy, but the wait staff made us completely at home. We had a nice private seating area and great advice in choosing our meals. Since then I have been to a number of other fine restaurants and this is still one of our favorites.

Great fine dining I went here for an anniversary and can't wait to go back! All the wait staff that we noticed were very attentative and polite. We didn't have to wait very long to receive our appetizers, the meals, or our bill. The food was outstanding and reasonably priced. It was definitely an unforgettable evening!
Fantastic upscale restaurant Dined at Gratzi multiple times for lunch as well as dinner. Have always been satisfied with service, food and atmosphere. Certainly, food is on the pricey side, but it really is every penny you spend. Service is attentive, prompt, and waiters are extremely knowledgeable. Draft beer is overpriced, but wine selection is better that most other places in Ann Arbor and the prices are very fair.
