I have worked with two Grassroots Gardens-owned community gardens during my six years in Buffalo: one near my old home on Greenwood Avenue, and one close to my current home on York Street. Grassroots Gardens helps build more resilient communities by giving residents access to the resources they need to put vacant lots back into productive use.
