GGWNY is like a fine wine... getting better with time! Even with the changes in helms they have a great way of getting the right folks in the right positions to take the organization to the next best level. I'm so glad to be involved as a Gardener!

In 1996 Milton Zeckhauser realized the importance of urban gardens and created the Grassroots Gardens in Buffalo. He and many other neighborhood leaders helped save their unique communities through creating the many urban oasis’s throughout our great city. I was proud to know him and his beautiful wife Amy and call them friends.

Neither Just Buffalo Literary Center nor Grassroots Gardens can be credited with the Read, Seed Write program. Just Buffalo submitted the same stated mission as the SOIL, SEEDS & SECRETS program of the University Heights Arts Association and only a word play on the title to gain a grant. Support the original program.

University Heights Arts Association READ SEED WRITE was stolen from the University Heights Arts Association's SOIL SEEDS & SECRETS program. The grant was gained under false pretenses. Just Buffalo Literary Center copied the UHAA's program precisely, using the same stated mission and only a word play on the title to gain a grant based on innovation.
