After I received an osteopenia diagnosis a couple of years ago, a friend recommended Grassiron Gym. My husband and I were already exercising regularly and using dumbbells in fitness classes but had never lifted heavy weights. The owners, Amalia and Pattie, offer the perfect mix of expertise and professionalism in the most inclusive and welcoming fitness environment I’ve ever experienced. Been going to this gym for over 10 years. Consistent quality, care, and warmth. If you’ve ever been intimidated by lifting, but you know that maintaining strength and mobility is important to you, you should seriously consider GrassIron.
I’ve been coming to GrassIron for a few years now and I cannot recommend them more. Thoughtful training, fun and caring people, and the satisfaction of getting strong. Nothing like looking back at your first days and realizing that what felt heavy then now feels feather light. Love it here!
Update - Because of life, I haven't had a session for a while. But, after 2 years, I went from 225ish to 178. I could not have done this without GrassIrons' trainers. I went from 2XL to M-L shirts and dropped 2 pants sizes. ------ I have officially been here a year. For me, that's unheard of as I don't do any type of workout for a year because I either a) don't feel comfortable or b) I don't see results. So, am I seeing results on the scale?
