If you want to stay in the park … you have to pay for it and this is what you get: old, heavy, dark, stuffy room with little space. No breakfast, you have to visit the general store or the restaurant a few roads ahead (sometimes very long waittime and no reservation possible in the morning, food „ok“). Personally, I would rather stay in West Yellowstone.

Moldy room and an awful smell meant we had to keep the windows open even at nighttime. The restroom curtain never got dry enough, and it had a wet towel smell. The water in the park smelled like other lodging. The only alternative we had was an expensive room at the Old Faithful Inn, so we picked this place but considered moving there the next day as the smell was too much. We complained about the smell, and the only thing the staff could do was spray a stronger citrus smell, but the smell never went away in the end. They of... read more
