I traveled from out of state to Salt Lake City to have Dr. Grant Sun perform my surgery. I had a previous bunion surgery in Northern California, and the surgery had a bad outcome, as my big toe was turned sideways. Dr. Sun was referred by a highly respected surgeon at InterMountain Health and also by a friend who worked in the medical field. Dr. Sun corrected the issue and I am extremely happy with the result. Dr. Sun was able to fix my ankle issues. I originally went to a different doctor who was unable to successfully repair my tendons. Dr. Sun took my concerns seriously and investigated them thoroughly. I would happily recommend him to anyone suffering with ankle issues.
I’m 68 & broke my foot in February. I have seen Dr Sun a few times and he has been extremely professional and down to earth explaining what’s going on. I have been healing well without needing surgery but have had pain for the first time since the break, this past week. Since we have a vacation planned I didn’t want any surprises while we were out of the country. Dr. Sun is the best!! I saw him for a 2nd opinion for a broken foot. I had been seeing someone else and after 4 months was still non weight bearing and had not made much improvement and had started losing hope. After seeing Dr. Sun I immediately started doing much better and am finally walking again! I will forever be grateful. I only wish I had found him sooner! Dr. Sun is the best!! I shattered my heel and he’s been my surgeon/doctor and because of him I’ve healed tremendously. He did a great job operating on it and has been a great care provider. I cannot recommend him enough. Also, everyone else on his team is so amazing too! I feel so lucky that they’ve been the ones taking care of me through this injury.
