Went in with pain and he suggested 4-6 weeks of physical therapy even though this is something I've had before and was already doing the therapy. It wasn't helping and that's why I was there. Also suggested medication that wasn't safe for me to take with the other health issues I have. When I said I'd have to run his suggestion past my doctor because I knew I couldn't take that type of medication his reaction was "OH! No you can't take that." Then I explained that was why I was requesting a cortisone shot because I have limi... read more
Repaired my severely torn rotator cuff perfectly with 0 pain after surgery
I just had rotator cuff surgery with Dr. Jones. I am amazed at the success after just two weeks. I still have PT upcoming to regain full use of my arm, but I am in no pain and had a wonderful experience with Dr. Jones. Not only did he come highly recommended by my PT, but he has a great personality. He made me feel so comfortable, allaying all my fears with humor and conversation.
Repaired and re-attached my nearly torn through supra-spinatus tendon (rotator cuff) on 8/22/13. Surgery went as expected with no complications. Recovery as expected though this surgery requires 1 year for the body to complete 95%+ of healing, and 3 years later shoulder is solid and supports my Tennis and 20 correct pushups and 12 correct pull ups regularly. I was 59 in 2013. Staff / assistant also excellent. Do participate faithfully in follow up physical therapy!
I fractured my clavicle over the weekend. Called Monday morning and had to wait 30 minutes to get through. Scheduling wasn't able to get me in until Wednesday. Very friendly during the office visit. Explained the procedure well. Everyone was very friendly in the office. After surgery he did not visit me so I didn't get to ask any post op questions. He did visit my family member before I was conscious and mentioned the surgery went well, but I would have appreciated a visit in person.
Despite my daughter-in-law's MRI/radiologist's report showing 2 tears in her shoulder, he dismissed her concerns and her pain. She has been unable to work since tearing tendons in her shoulder Thanksgiving week.. She got a second opinion; that doctor questioned if Dr. Jones has ever read an MRI before.
