I wanted to try this place but it was ehhhh , I liked the choco frappe it was like a banana chocolate shake so it gave me nostalgia from when I was a kid , the bread was also good and fresh , but the breakfast sandwich didn't list cheese on the description ... so when the lady asked my sister if she wanted everything she said yes , but when we got our order ... the sandwich had cheese so be aware of that , my sister ended up only eating the bottom half of the sandwich the cheese hadn't touched , also the hot cofee was spilli... read more

We recently moved into the neighborhood and had heard good things about this cafe! We were immediately impressed by the beauty of the coffee shop and loved the ‘Hecho en Back of the Yards’ mural on display. We had the mazapán latte and LOVED it. It actually had little pieces of mazapán! They also sell packaged coffee beans and promote neighborhood events which we loved. We can’t wait to come back and try the rest of the menu. Staff was also incredibly friendly!
If you’re looking for a variety of delicious pan(Mexican sweet bread) and cafe(coffee) or tea, this is a ONE STOP SHOP! They serve the smoothest cold brew and richest cafe de olla! Now— “early bird gets the worm” as they sell out fast(bread.) They are open later than most local cafes(6 pm) and have the BEST team.
