I’m writing this review with a heavy heart. I trusted this veterinary clinic to care for my dog during a very serious time, and unfortunately, he passed away 1 day after his procedure. This has been an incredibly difficult experience for me, and while I understand that not all outcomes can be controlled, I can’t help but feel disappointed and heartbroken over how everything unfolded. It’s been 6 months since Dr. Corbin removed our Moonshine’s 4 inch liver lobe mass (benign) and left anal gland sac (cancer). We came in for the liver lobe removal and SHE found the anal gland sac when our personal vet had not. To say we were shocked but thankful she found it was an understatement. She knows what she’s doing and looking for in older/bigger dogs! We just had 6 month post op bloodwork done and I am very pleased to report that Moonshine is doing great and is still cancer free. They have done a amazing job with my dog Taroko and his TPLO surgery.
Although we certainly wish our sweet dog hadn’t needed surgery, we had a truly wonderful experience with Dr. Erin Corbin and the entire team at Granite Veterinary Specialists for our dog’s TPLO procedure.
