The Granite Restaurant had a new chef take over a few weeks ago (the website hasn't even been updated with the new menu yet), and I will be shocked if this doesn't become one of the busiest restaurants in Concord. I was absolutely blown away by the food, and our server, Laura, was great! I'm not a snob, but I definitely appreciate good food and have eaten at quite a few Michelin Star restaurants (everything from 1 to 3 stars). It sounds like a great place but cannot find out if it's even open. Website says it's closed, but Google says it's open
Service took forever. We constantly waited for everything - to get water, to get drinks, to order, water refills,, for our check. If service was better, we would have had another round of drinks but it was terrible. Food was good, but nothing to write home about.
Waste of money. I have no issue with paying for quality but I walked away feeling ripped off. The Burrata, as it’s served, is inedible. Complete disrespect for a wonderful piece of cheese. The lamb was overcooked and lacking flavor. The polenta was loose and thin. It’s not a good sign when the fava beans are the highlight of the dish.
