Great service. Never felt rushed even though it was lunch rush time. Chicken tortilla soup is awesome!!
I generally think Granite City is overpriced and has underwhelming food, but I’ll never again go on a weekend/holiday. We went in the evening of Mother’s Day and the staff was so overwhelmed by the earlier brunch that it was a nightmare. Long wait for service, food etc. When the food came after 40 minutes, some of it was cold/had been sitting around � My pasta was mediocre at best.
Mother’s Day brunch over priced! Prime rib tiny . Raw, and cold! Their famous carmel rolls were the size of 50 cent piece and hard. The people replacing the food at the buffet were more attentive than our server! Not a good way to spoil mom on her special day!
I would not eat here again due to concerns about food safety. We had unevenly cooked food, brought to the table cold. A chilled tomato/onion relish had lost almost all color-who knows how long that had been sitting around. Nothing at our table of four tasted fresh. Service was adequate, or I'd rate 1 star.
Brisket special was a simple cut of roast with brisket ends on top of their special smoked brisket way over priced obtw they were out of all the sides my bad for going there $60 mistake
They are not very good about moving people thru. We arrived to a 1.5 hour wait with 7 tables empty and waited all of our time plus and if it was not for the bartender probably would still be waiting
