Came for a friend’s 50th. The first thing I noticed is the window in my room gave me a great view of the hallway, and a great preview inside the room for anyone passing through. The ring buoys are very useful as my dad ended up saving a drowning young man. First come first serve for everything. The hotel doesn’t actually have paddle boards but offer a great place to put them so borrowing one is easy. Great access to the jumping bridge. It was a terrible stay for me and my fiancé in room 207. Immediately at check in the receptionist was not super friendly. There was another lady being helped in front of me and her service sounded top tier. There was another receptionist girl that was not doing anything so me and my fiancé sat there for a good minute until she finally asked if we needed assistance. She already had a snarky attitude she asked for my name, I gave it, she looked through her list, nothing, then she rudely said "last name." Like oh okay you didn'... read more
Please fix the hot tub so it is HOT, not warm. Been that way for 2 summers now. The water is dingy. The jets and waterfall do not work. Grandview needs to perform well overdue maintenance on the grounds. Very expensive to stay in a run down condo. Good location to things, but there are other options. We are moving on to another condo.
DANGER! DO NOT STAY HERE! My daughter was assaulted by a "maintenance person" who works here and stalked her to our room. He tried forcing himself into the room after her until I came after him. Luckily I was there at that moment. He didn't speak English and is most likely illegal. My lawyer is in process. Im also advising ICE
