As a fan of the other locations in this group (have eaten at the Uptown Diner for 30 plus years), I had to try this one out. Food was good, but I was disappointed with the style of hashbrowns they used. Other than that, my Cajun breakfast was delicious, and the rest of the party enjoyed their pancakes. I now have 5 different coffee cups! Change to the better (not stringy) hashbrowns, and I'll give the place a 5!
A friend and I arrived at 2:05, closing is 2:30. The waitperson was very cordial and took our order. Our food was wonderful. I ordered the Chinese Cashew chicken salad sandwich and my friend the daily special. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Finally, we bought 2 huge sticky buns to take back to Wisconsin(excellent nutty sweet)....very clean, great food and a kitchen/wait staff that treated us kindly even at the end of their day. Thank you.
My hubby and I had a wonderful lunch at the Grandview Grill. My pepper chicken sandwich was delicious! My hubby had the chili salad and really liked it! Plus 2 shakes that were so yummy! Thanks Ari for your attentive service!
Food is alright at best; management is loud and disrespectful to customers and employees. Servers are great though!
We LOVED our breakfast - cute place, service was great! Homemade food, HUGE portions, great prices. The sausage gravy is to die for!!
Pricey.... $31 for breakfast for two... the waffle was good that hash browns was good the breakfast meat was good but the price was twice the amount of a typical breakfast Eatery
wonderful little eclectic diner in St Paul... Tasty and plentiful breakfast and sandwich offerings. Love this place!
