I brought my cat to this vet a number of times due to serious concerns of vomitting and weight loss. The staff were very friendly and helpful, but I found the appointments to be quite short and I didn't feel the vets were taking my concern seriously. They did do an abdominal x-ray and provided some anti nausea medication, recommended a new food which we tried. They did blood work twice, said every was normal. Unfortunately, we left feeling disappointed. The vet seemed very uncomfortable around our Frenchie and explained that a previous experience with a Frenchie attacking them had made them uneasy with anxious behaviour. While we understand everyone has different experiences, our dog was there for an ear infection and the vet ultimately did not physically examine him. Just wanted to thank the clinic for taking my dog Schnatzel on short notice for end of life care. The staff were kind & supportive! It was such a hard decision to make but when the bad days outweigh the good you know it’s time.The little fellow will be sorely missed…. Thank you Dr Mahli
I wish I could clone these vets in my new city. They caught a heart murmur early in my dog and arranged specialist evaluation within 2 weeks. (By contrast, our new vet cannot detect the murmur on exam, and quoted 6-12 months waitlist for echo referrals in Montreal).They also saved my cat who was obstructed via emergency exploration and removal of a foreign object. My dogs are my kids. They are my family. I would do anything and everything for them no matter what. I wouldn't entrust them anywhere else or with anyone else other than Grandview Animal Hospital and their team of incredible staff.
