Grandpa's Auto Sales – In 2010 i purchased a 96' toyota corolla, the sunroof didn't work and the check engine light was on, but i was assured that the car was in good working order. it's now 2012 and the only thing wrong with it is it has a small oil leak. i WILL be going back to look for another car.

Buyer Beware! – In November of 2010 my boyfriend purchased a car for me at Grandpa’s Auto Sales from James A. Stein. While looking at the cars he had on his lot, we specifically stated that we wanted a dependable car that would not need a lot of work. He showed us a 99 Chevy Metro that he said fit what we were looking for. Exactly 24 hours after purchasing the car the ‘check engine’ light came on. I took the car to a shop, the code was pulled and I was told that it was the catalytic converter and that the front axel needed t... read more

Buyer Beware! – I purchased a car from James A. Stein (owner of Grandpa's Auto Sales) around Thanksgiving 2010 for my girlfriend. Exactly 24 hours after delivery of the car, the check engine light came on. The diagnostic code scan revealed it was the catalytic converter. However, while having that checked out, it was revealed that the front axle needed to be replaced. The car was bought as-is, but this is ridiculous. Ironically, upon first visiting the lot, he showed me an older Buick. The car "ran well" but apparently neede... read more

BEWARE – Beware buying a car from grandpa's auto sales. Make sure you check and recheck the car you want that everything is working. Also, that anything not working is not against the law to be selling to public as is. Don't tell them how much you have to spend before you start dealing. Won't buy there again. Many repairs to be done, and still working on them!

Grandpa's Auto Sales – I am a sceptical person by nature so you can imagine or relate to walking onto a small used car lot. We all have the same negative sterotypes. I saw a car on this lot that I had to stop and look at. The salesman/owner came out to greet me. I was pleasantly surprised at the professional, courteous, and casual manner in which I was treated. I took the car out for the usual test drive and loved it. He had all the records on the car including a car fax. I really wasn't planning on buying anything that day ... read more
