Good guy for the work he does
I have brought 2 very specific small projects to Grandpa's wood shop with fantastic results. On the first occasion my husband and I bought a house with wood floors in half the downstairs and wanted to put in hardwoods in the rest. We bought 3/8" thick wood that matched in color and grain thinking the existing floor wood was 3/8" thick. It was 5/16" It may not sound like much of a difference but you could tell.
