The owner does EVERYTHING from welcoming and seating you to preparing and serving your meal; with this in my mind, you need to be patient, but the food is SO worth the wait! Every aspect of our meals was so fresh and delicious. You can hear him blending every sauce and chopping fresh veggies. The food is very authentic. Cozy and pleasant small dining area, semi open kitchen, incredibly clean front and back of house. Always immaculate bathrooms. This is the real deal. You're not going to get a deep fried chimichanga. You *will* get things that come from the heart of Mexico (example, pork in pipian, so delicate and complex that you have to savor it) and if you're looking for quality and a disciplined approach to Mexican food, this is the place.
