Slumlords! Management will do the bare minimum to keep the apartment livable. I had a lease at 2200 Madison Road for one year. There were 2 major water leaks which resulted in black mold and a roach infestation. After the move-out, we hired professional cleaners and they still kept $150 from the deposit for cleaning.
