When I saw the incredibly high rating and overwhelmingly positive reviews, part of me expected them to have been from various friends and family. Having stayed there myself - it's clear these were genuine because it's legitimately a 5 star experience. The best accommodation you will find in Battery Point. A grand old home / hotel from a century ago. We had a lovely three night stay and we were so happy with our choice. The service was friendly and Ash our host was wonderful looking after all our needs whilst giving us privacy as well. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the addition of homemade cakes and biscuits on offer 24/7 was a real treat. I can’t say enough good things about our stay at the Grand Vue. It’s a beautiful building with sweet outdoor spaces in a cute residential neighborhood. It is quiet and tranquil while also being within walking distance of restaurants and cafes. Downtown is a slightly longer but still very manageable stroll. Beautiful and comfortable hotel, fantastic location. Highly recommended if you are staying in Hobart. Bed was so comfortable and our room was upgraded at the last minute, which was so kind of the owners. The home made treats in the kitchen is a beautiful touch. The views are incredible. Other reviews any lower than 5 stars are just people who are extremely hard to please. Highly recommend this hotel.
