My wife and I just bought our first home with Dan from Grand Realty. Start to finish it was a wonderful experience. Dan has decades of experience in realty in the Twin Cities, but also just as much experience in property management and real estate investing. I rented from Grand Reality for 2 years and had a great experience! Maintenance issues were resolved quickly and I always got fast responses from my landlord.
As someone moving in from out of town, I found a unit listed by Grand Realty Real Estate and submitted both a virtual tour request and an application. A couple of days went by with no response. When I followed up, I finally heard from Dan Fowlds, who said he didn't know anything about the property and cc'd the property manager, Levi Stugelmeyer. I rented an apartment from this company for four years in Saint Paul and moved out on November 27, 2025. I was informed that my security deposit would be returned by December 21, 2025; however, I have yet to receive it. This company has shown a complete lack of accountability and concern. My next step will be to file a formal complaint and pursue further action
