I rented from Grand Reality for 2 years and had a great experience! Maintenance issues were resolved quickly and I always got fast responses from my landlord.
As someone moving in from out of town, I found a unit listed by Grand Realty Real Estate and submitted both a virtual tour request and an application. A couple of days went by with no response. When I followed up, I finally heard from Dan Fowlds, who said he didn't know anything about the property and cc'd the property manager, Levi Stugelmeyer. I rented an apartment from this company for four years in Saint Paul and moved out on November 27, 2025. I was informed that my security deposit would be returned by December 21, 2025; however, I have yet to receive it. This company has shown a complete lack of accountability and concern. My next step will be to file a formal complaint and pursue further action
Grand Reality has been a wonderful company to rent an apartment from. The owners are always very responsive when you reach out to them and they really seem to care that you're happy with your living situation. That's not usually the case with landlords!
I worked with Dan on a duplex he had for sale and he was communicative and transparent making it a smooth process for my buyer. Thanks!
