Hopefully your car never gets stolen and they are the ones called to tow it because I can guarantee you that they won't even check to see if it was reported stolen. Then, they will stick you with weeks worth of impound fees due to their incompetence. Won't work with you and likely won't respect your circumstance since it doesn't affect them. They are raking in the $$ and do not care about customer service. Avoid.

They may seem like nice people, but that's only because they are filling they're pockets with your money. Like in my case, almost $200 for storing my undrivable car over a holiday weekend.

Went to pick up vehicle with proper paper work and was questioned like they were the police. They even asked to see my mechanics identification before giving me my automobile. Hope to never deal with them again.

First they were an hour after the time quote to me, early on an April morning with no snow storm, or rain storm to slow them down. Then when the called me to get a credit card for the mile overage, Diane was extremely rude, blunt, and unfriendly. All I heard was static on the line, I could make out "GR Towing," so I hung up, restarted my phone hoping to solve the signal issue, and immediately called them back. Bad snowy nite. All the tow companies swamped and not wanting to deal with me, but merl's had a truly outstanding attitude from office to driver. Thanks much for your excellent service.

Tried to deal with a competitor and was treated rudely. Called them and had prompt service. They were professional, courteous, and the price was great. I was stranded almost 200 miles from home and they made me feel better by the service I received. Give them your business

My car broke down out of town, I called a competitor and was told that they would pick my car up and they never did I called Grand Rapids Towing and my car was picked up with in 45 min from when I called and the driver was dressed professional and respectful, helpful and polite I will recommend them to any one that needs a tow

Tangled mess of enclosed dual axle trailer and a Ford F250. Only 1 wheel of 8 was on the ground when Merl'sTowing Service team of "Post Accident Engineers" (others humbly call them "tow truck drivers") arrived on the seen. Our enclosed Gutter machine trailer was flipped upside down and the truck was on its edge about the tumble down the embankment.
