The Grand Rapids Bar Association is a wonderful organization and a great resource for the local legal and professional community. The events are well-run, the members are welcoming, and the programming is consistently valuable. Highly recommend!
The whole association needs to be banned or overhauled. Useless referrals, referral said they didn't practice in the specific area I had requested. Was given 1 more referral and the attorney wanted to charge me an exorbitant amount in fees without even hearing my situation seemed like a deterrent tactic. Totally worthless referral system.
Did not help me at all
Paid $25 for referral to the most useless lawyer I have ever spoken to, he didn't even attempt to consider my situation & told me he didn't care about my case. When I said I paid for a consultation his response was, " you're talking to me now aren't you " never felt so ripped off by a lawyer in my life.
