DO NOT BUY A HOUSE BY DR HORTON!!!! Should have listened to the reviews. I’ve had a water leak on the neighboring community property that has been reported at least 6x in the 1.5 years I’ve lived here. They patch it and it comes right back. It floods a portion of my yard that makes it so I can’t even walk in that area without getting mud everywhere. They use cheap contractors and don’t follow up on anything they do. Better off buying a double wide!
Do not be fooled this community has a lot of issues with the homes but you won’t find out until after you’ve moved in. DR will fix the issues temporarily and long enough to get through the one year warranty period. Afterwards you will be responsible for things that should not fall apart/break or stop working so soon in a new home. Drainage issues, gates not installed properly, flooring issues, electrical problems, leaks, appliances stop working within a year etc. The homes appear nice but they are cheap for a reason.
