My radiologist was really nice. That’s why I’m giving 2 stars instead of zero. My DEXA scan results were completely inaccurate other than my bone density reading. I’m 130 lbs & fit. The machine measured my body fat % at 31.3%. I’ve never been measured over 25% with every other form of body fat measurement. I have to call into question the calibration of the machine, and the accuracy of using a bone density machine as a way to test soft tissue in general. I am very disappointed and disgusted that Western Colorado Radiologic Associates is still retained by you to read the mammogram results. They have sent me to a collection agency for a Medicare covered mammogram. The charge is $312.00. I wrote a letter to the Inspector General detailing my efforts to reach the billing office (a call and two billing statements with my Medicare and Medico account numbers. I suspect fraud. I had scheduled an appointment with them in august only to show up and told there was no appt. They had made a mistake and scheduled 3 days prior and marked me a a no call no show. Scheduled again and had the same issue the next time I called in to verify my appointment. Very unimpressed and treated poorly by the front desk as if all of this was my fault. I showed the texts confirming my appts and that this was all of their mistakes. Finally I asked my doctor to resubmit through GJ pavilion as they are a million times better... read more
