I have been taking my vehicles (Toyota and Honda) to Grand Imports now for about 30 years. In that time, I moved from north to south Austin, and I still take my vehicles all the way up to Pflugerville just to get serviced by them. I took my car in for a fairly routine repair. They were very upfront about the options, the implications of the "cheaper" options, but also personal recommendations ("if it was my car . . ."). When they put it back together, it was having new problems. At their expense, they went back in and performed the more expensive option. That didn't fix the new issue. I would not trust this shop. I brought my Acura to Grand Imports because of a steering-wheel vibration while driving, significantly worse shaking under braking, clunking from the front end, and an intermittent Check Engine/emissions/parking-brake warning. Before bringing the car in, I specifically told them that a mechanic I trusted had previously found play in the driver-side inner tie rod.
