Fantastic resort. Scenery, service, shops. The pool and lagoon area are unparalleled- recommend reserving a cabana in advance. Restaurant options are good albeit pricey. Tidepools was excellent. The beach was perfect, wish I would have spent more time there. The resort is a bit of a splurge, but worth it.
Nice place but would it kill them to clean the water bottle refill stations they look like they can get wiped with a hot cloth to look cleaner at least
Could not be more disappointed. I stayed here 22 years ago and thought the Grand Hyatt Kauai was the most incredible hotel/resort I’d ever stayed. Today, I feel like I may as well have booked a Disney cruise. This NOT a luxury resort. If you’re looking for a place where you can let your kids run wild, this is the resort for you. If you want good, thoughtful service, great food and the peaceful beauty of Kauai, do NOT stay at the Grand Hyatt.
