Nice hotel with some good amenities such as a pool with a big slide. However, the furniture is old and somewhat run down. This place is in a need of some renovation.
Only being charitable with 3 stars. 1st time visitor to Rapid City / Mt. Rushmore, etc. Should not have panicked about lack of rooms during July 4th weekend. Plenty of other nicer places to spend your money. Should remove the Boss Fried Chicken ad off the keys.
The hotel has a cozy Victorian feel, the rooms were spacious, and the beds were comfortable! My wife and I loved cheers lounge entertainment; the waterpark is perfect for the whole family, grandparents included; Perkins breakfast was affordable and delicious, "open 24/7". It's safe to say this is our new favorite hotel!
Upon arrival, we were checked in by Lucy. She was the sweetest person ever! She was helpful and kind! Later we went to Cheers bar. It was so much fun! Our bartender Chelsey took great care of us. What a great place to stay!
