First of all when we moved it it was vacuumed but the carpets were not cleaned. There were pee spots on the carpet and it smelled like urine. So we had to wait to move in. The bathroom cabinets were not cleaned and there was dried toothpaste all over the inside of the drawers. I just read another review that said the same thing. The light switch did not work on the ceiling fan so at night we had to unscrew the lightbulbs to keep the fan on. My family and I lived there since 2016. I spent 2 days cleaning the unit after we moved out. Making sure to clean everything I could. We didn't want to move but were forced to so that they could renovate the home. I shampooed the carpet in the bedrooms only to be charged $200 for carpet cleaning. I cleaned the fridge, and the toilets only to get charged $230. I took a magic eraser to the walls only to get charged $130. I got charged $130 for garbage in the bins!? Cardinal Point is an amazing community. The staff is top notch and never fails to accomodate to a potential residents needs. I needed a quick and fast move in and they made it happen in less than 24 hours. Any issue that has risen since moving here has been handled instantly and in a very helpful and understanding manor. I will reccomend Cardinal Point to anyone and everyone! Thank you for making this place feel like a home, I am eternally greatful to all of the Cardinal Point staff.
Renters Beware. Make sure you are fully insured if you rent from this management company. They will not pay for your losses. They will claim no insurance and will go to all costs to make sure they are found not negligent, even if they are at fault. Document everything and watch your back.
If you value safety do not live here. Here is a SHORT list of safety issues that management continues to do nothing about: My car stolen. My storage unit broken into resulting in 1500 dollars worth of stolen items. Ground floor doors are consistently broken and left open for any and everyone to get into the building Homeless people sleeping on the couches on the 2nd floor Maintenance leaving a key in apartments doors while the apartment is open to the public due to unlocked doors Several residents car’s and bikes being st... read more
