Safety concerns all the time. I have been followed by a man with a knife inside the parking lot. My car had the catalytic converter stolen inside the parking lot. It was supposed to be my home, but I couldn't feel safe at all.
A serious issue that has recently come to my attention involving an alleged rent balance that was sent to collections in 2020 under my name while I was a tenant at Grand Central Manor from 2016 to 2022. I only discovered this collection entry recently and was shocked, as I was never notified—by letter, email, phone, or otherwise—of any missed or outstanding rent payment during my tenancy. Nancy and the maintenance guy Derek are both great to work with!
We have been living in this building for a month now, and I just wanted to express how grateful we are. The resident manager, Nancy Kent, has been nothing short of wonderful — always friendly, approachable, and incredibly helpful. We also had to request maintenance, and the response was impressively fast. The maintenance technician was just as helpful, friendly, and resourceful. So far, we have absolutely nothing to complain about — only good things to say!
The building is well-maintained, and any maintenance requests I’ve submitted were handled quickly and efficiently — often within a day. The building manager is also incredibly friendly and helpful (thank you Nancy and Aman). From move-in to everyday questions, they’ve always been approachable and responsive, making the entire process smooth and stress-free.
