If at all possible, the canyon on a full moon night, or no moon night. Breathtaking. Bring a guitar and loved one. But always, always visit, & explore a little :)
It's beautiful but i was shocked to pay for seeing a NATIONAL PARK! damn..
Purchase an entry pass prior to entering the park. Waited 30 minuttes just to get through the entrance.

Don't set your tent up in an area heavily populated with skat..animals like to use the same are over and over...all week long,in the middle of the night I wake up smelling foul elk ass :( I'm too lazy
You have to pay to get in, it seems to be private land. I think grand canyon south is $25 per car. It's about another 2-3 hour drive.
When you are walking make sure you watch your step. Look out for the edge and donkey crap. :)
