Grand Canyon overwhelms our senses through its immense size.

For a short trip, I recommend joining an early morning air tour to the West Rim. There are no barriers, no crazy crowds and the whole experience is very well organized by the local people.

The Grand Canyon in Arizona is an breathtaking geologic spectacle. An average of one mile deep for its entire 277-mile span, the canyon is 6,000 feet deep at its deepest point and 18 miles wide.
Parking is horrendous. I went on a Monday in September . I can't imagine how bad parking is in the summer or on weekends.
Check out the Canyon on a clear night with a full moon...Its pretty cool!
