A diamond of a national park. Hike out to Ooh-Ah point and say hi to lots of pack mules hiking up the steep canyon! Bring plenty of water, a compass, maps, and snacks and don't forget a hat.

Definitely go for a hike into the canyon around sunrise or sunset but bring an head lamp and flashlight!

Amazing experience, well worth a visit. The nearby airport offers helicopter tours over the canyon which are amazing

Unbedingt mit dem Mietwagen die Strecken fahren, auf denen kein Shuttle verkehrt. Dort ist weniger los und es gibt die besseren Ausblicke. Tipp: der Watchtower bei Desert View.

Get up early and watch the sunset, but be sure to take warm clothes as it was literally freezing before sunrise.

The South Rim is open year round, but some facilities will close during winter. The North Rim is open May 15 through mid-October. The two rims are about a 5-hour drive apart.
