Extremely disappointing customer service. January 30 2026 Traveling from central NC We requested to reschedule our reservation at the Grand Bohemian in Asheville, NC after the Governor publicly urged people not to travel due to conditions. While the Governor may not have the legal authority under General Statutes to restrict driving, the guidance was clear and issued for public safety reasons. I wanted to LOVE this place, and I ended up liking it. The stuff they can control was great: wonderful staff, great valet guys, awesome cleaning staff, everyone was A-Plus in that regard. My biggest complaints are out of their control. One, the location was not what I was expecting. The hotel is surrounded on all four sides by really busy, 8-lane roads with a tremendous amount of traffic. We stayed at Grand Bohemian Lodge for a weekend getaway and planned to visit the Biltmore - this hotel is directly in front of the Biltmore entrance! The front desk, the valet, the housekeepers were all fabulous! Thank you for a great stay! The only thing we would change had nothing to do with the staff whatsoever, I booked it not knowing logistics prior to our visit. Grand Bohemian Lodge presents to the visitor a delightful experience. When you drive in, valet parking attendants are available to assist you in your travel needs . Once inside ,the front desk attends to your room , and any needs that the lodge has to offer.
